Susman Godfrey crossed a momentous milestone this weekend in electing 7 new lawyers to its partnership and bringing the total number of partners at the equity-only firm to more than 100. The firm also announced market-topping bonuses, reflecting the second-largest revenue year in its history.
Susman Godfrey’s first-year firm associates will receive median bonuses of $110,000 and the most senior associates at the firm will receive median bonuses of $220,000. As is tradition, the firm will also pay bonuses to every single one of its 286 employees, from office assistants to paralegals to managers.
“Susman Godfrey enjoyed another extremely successful year,” said the firm’s managing partners Vineet Bhatia and Kalpana Srinivasan. “We also hit a pivotal moment in exceeding for the first time 100 partners. Our strong partnership and deep bench of talent continue to position us to handle the most complex cases against the most formidable adversaries across the nation.”
