Partners Bryan Caforio and Kalpana Srinivasan have been named leading litigators on the Daily Journal’s list of the country’s best lawyers for big-ticket and bet-the-company cases. Caforio and Srinivasan are among a select group of less than 100 lawyers in the nation who are recognized with this distinction.
Caforio regularly secures major wins in complex litigation across the country. In 2023 Caforio obtained one of the biggest trial wins in the nation: a $330 million Final Award for his client after completing a full arbitration hearing. In a turbo-charged case that went to trial less than six months after filing the complaint, Caforio delivered the opening statement and closing argument at trial and deftly led his team to obtain a complete victory on behalf of his client, one of the largest independent power producers in the country. He is now serving as co-lead counsel to a group of investors seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from Blackstone over alleged breach of contract and fiduciary duty. This is the third year in a row Srinivasan has been named to the Leading Litigator list. In 2024, Srinivasan served as lead counsel and first chair trial lawyer in multiple trials and arbitrations across the nation. Her work included securing a $65.7 million jury verdict for plaintiff Paltalk after a patent trial against Cisco, as lead trial counsel to Intercontinental Exchange, successfully navigating challenges by the FTC to clear the way for a $11.7 billion deal allowing ICE to buy Black Knight Inc., and a courtroom victory after 3 weeks of trial in the NFL Sunday Ticket Antitrust Litigation with a jury finding the NFL engaged in a conspiracy and violated the antitrust laws through its Sunday Ticket offering.
